THE COCOPEAT CONNECTION

Why the root zone matters

A coir fertigation programme depends on delivering the intended nutrients rather than precipitates.

01 / OBSERVE

Three checks before you change anything

  1. Follow the supplied formulation’s tank allocation and mixing instructions.
  2. Check that transfer tools and return lines do not cross-contaminate concentrates.
  3. Verify separate dosing and final dilution at the mixing point.

02 / NARROW IT DOWN

What is the concern?

Choose the closest observation for a suggested next check.

Concentrates were mixed together

Quarantine the batch and ask the formulation supplier whether it can be used safely.

One tank empties faster

Check injector calibration and the specified dosing relationship.

Final feed is cloudy

Review water chemistry and mixing conditions before sending more to plants.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Leave with something useful

Label tanks and document the approved preparation sequence.

Keep in mind

Do not copy another grower’s A/B allocation without checking the actual fertiliser products.
