THE COCOPEAT CONNECTION

Why the root zone matters

Algae at the surface does not by itself describe the health of deeper roots.

01 / OBSERVE

Three checks before you change anything

  1. Inspect leaks and continuously wet spots
  2. Compare shaded and exposed surfaces
  3. Check drainage and seedling health

02 / NARROW IT DOWN

Where is algae concentrated?

Choose the closest observation for a suggested next check.

Below dripping emitters

Repair the delivery problem and monitor recurrence.

Across propagation trays

Review irrigation, airflow and hygiene together.

On benches and floors

Include the surrounding production area in sanitation.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Leave with something useful

Map the wet locations and correct their cause before the next crop.

Keep in mind

Do not dry the whole root zone severely just to remove surface algae.
