THE COCOPEAT CONNECTION

Why the root zone matters

Uneven or precipitated stock can change the nutrient solution delivered to coir roots.

01 / OBSERVE

Three checks before you change anything

  1. Check product identity, batch preparation order and the intended concentration.
  2. Compare water temperature and mixing instructions with the fertiliser label.
  3. Inspect whether incompatible concentrates were combined or residual material remained in the tank.

02 / NARROW IT DOWN

What is the sediment like?

Choose the closest observation for a suggested next check.

Appeared during mixing

Stop using the unverified batch and review compatibility and dissolution instructions.

Appeared after storage

Review storage conditions and stock stability with the fertiliser supplier.

Source is uncertain

Retain a labelled sample and preparation record for technical assessment.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Leave with something useful

Prepare a verified replacement batch if advised and check delivery before returning to normal operation.

Keep in mind

Do not assume stirring makes a chemically precipitated nutrient available again.
