THE COCOPEAT CONNECTION

Why the root zone matters

A control sensor can influence every fertigation event in a coir crop.

01 / OBSERVE

Three checks before you change anything

  1. Check calibration history and temperature settings for both instruments.
  2. Take a sample close to the inline measurement point at the same time.
  3. Inspect the inline sensor for fouling, air exposure or installation issues using its manual.

02 / NARROW IT DOWN

Which result is suspect?

Choose the closest observation for a suggested next check.

Handheld fails its standard check

Correct the handheld measurement before adjusting the controller.

Inline reading remains inconsistent

Have the control sensor cleaned or serviced and verify its output independently.

Both pass but samples differ

Investigate sampling location and timing along the delivery path.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Leave with something useful

Keep a paired-reading log after corrective maintenance.

Keep in mind

Do not recalibrate an inline controller against an unverified handheld result.
