THE COCOPEAT CONNECTION

Why the root zone matters

A coir warehouse may hold different grades and treatments that should not be substituted just because one pallet is older.

01 / OBSERVE

Three checks before you change anything

  1. Record receipt dates, batch identities and any supplier storage guidance.
  2. Keep product grades and acceptance status clearly separated.
  3. Inspect older stock for packaging damage or environmental exposure before release.

02 / NARROW IT DOWN

Which stock is next to use?

Choose the closest observation for a suggested next check.

Same approved specification

Follow the site’s stock-rotation rule and confirm the package condition.

Older but different grade

Check suitability rather than issuing it as an automatic substitute.

Age or storage history unknown

Hold it for review and representative assessment before use.

03 / TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Leave with something useful

Label each storage location with product, batch and release status.

Keep in mind

Do not invent a universal shelf life for every compressed coir product.
