Teral BLU blueberry grow bags combine coir growing media with 25, 30 and 40 litre format options. Discuss custom bag sizes and a substrate specification suited to your commercial blueberry project.
BLU is the Teral bag range for blueberry container-growing projects. It suits buyers looking for an individual bag format with a defined substrate volume.
Choose the volume with your project adviser, considering plant size, intended growing period, spacing and the supporting system. A larger capacity is an option to evaluate, not an automatic guarantee of better results.
From delivery to placement
Verify the bag size and material specification.
Unfold and position it on a suitable support, keeping the agreed drainage openings clear.
Prepare the supplied substrate to the order instructions and your nursery protocol.
Plant and label under the blueberry project’s approved growing plan.
Agree drainage design, support compatibility and final dimensions before ordering.
25 L · 30 L · 40 L Three substrate volumes for your project.
Blueberry projects differ in cultivar, root-ball size, growing period and irrigation system. BLU gives you a choice of substrate volumes so your growing team can match the bag to the project.
25 LLOWER MEDIA VOLUME
A compact project option
Consider where a smaller substrate volume fits the chosen cultivar and management system. It uses less media per plant than the other BLU sizes.
Confirm that the root ball, filled depth and irrigation coverage suit the format.
30 LTHE INTERMEDIATE OPTION
A step between sizes
Consider when the project brief needs more media than 25 L without moving to the largest format. It adds 5 L per bag.
Compare filled dimensions, support fit and handling weight with your existing layout.
40 LGREATER MEDIA VOLUME
More room when required
Consider when a larger root ball or the project’s container plan calls for extra volume. It uses 60% more media than 25 L.
Allow for the larger filled footprint and weight. More volume alone does not promise more fruit.
Not an age-based ladder.
25, 30 and 40 L are alternatives, not automatic “young, mature and maximum-yield” stages. Commercial southern highbush and home-grown northern highbush blueberries can have very different container requirements. Some home varieties need more than 40 L.
Check the shape as well as litres.
Blueberry roots are relatively shallow. Agree a broad square base, filled height and effective drainage with your growing team. Custom sizes are available.
Planning 1,000 bags? 25 L = 25 m³ · 30 L = 30 m³ · 40 L = 40 m³ of nominal media volume. Use this for purchasing comparisons, with filling allowances confirmed separately.
